Hyland's Teething Tablets Recalled

My favorite homeopathic company, Hyland's, is the subject of an FDA recall. ALL of Hyland's Teething tablets are being recalled due to them containing belladonna, which is used for pain and inflammation. Problems have been reported when using the teething tablets in high doses.
Parents should know better than to go overboard when handing them out to a baby. The bottle does contain directions. Parents should also know better than to leave them out where a little one can get at them. Those two points are not the fault of the company. They are the fault of the consumer.
Every article I've ever read about homeopathy, says you can not overdose on a homeopathic remedy. Teething tablets are composed of very, very small quantities of each ingredient. It would take way more than one bottle to have adverse effects. According to this article, it would take at least 6 bottles.
I used Hyland's teething tablets a couple of times on my oldest. They were amazing. He went from screaming to playing within just a few minutes.
If you ask me, I think it's big pharma trying to kill the safe, effective, no side effects products offered by the competition. It's a money thing and the more people who turn to natural, alternative remedies, the more money the pharmaceutical industry loses. Unfortunately, the companies who offer alternatives to big pharma's medicine, have no choice but to give in.
Anyways, if you have Hyland's teething tablets you are now afraid to use, you can either get a cash refund, or a coupon for another Hyland's product, by filling out this recall form on the Hyland's website.
